Current Openings

Outbound Territory Sales Representative:
Make proactive outbound calls, both seeking and offering information related to products, services, potential sales opportunities, and other direct marketing campaigns to businesses and industrial establishments, government agencies, associations, educational institutions or individuals. Identify and report on decision makers within target accounts and defined region of responsibility. Will take a hands-on approach to penetrate, profile, prospect, maintain and grow corporate accounts in assigned territory in accordance to the business expectations and goals. Identify and qualify sales opportunities and partner with other departments that include but are not limited to Marketing, Purchasing and Inbound Sales to generate demand.

  Essential Responsibilities:

  • Compiles lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from ad inquiries, trade shows, direct mail responses, card deck leads, aged leads, bingos, dealer resellers, business directories, Internet Web sites, and other sources.
  • Makes outbound phone calls throughout assigned territory to initiate and build customer base and book of accounts by qualifying leads to sell Flaghouse products and services.
  • Provides product demos to qualified customers on request
  • Tracks stock levels
  • Builds and maintains customer relationships
  • Investigates and resolves customer concerns
  • Will on occasion do site visits and or attend trade shows
  • Meets or exceeds expectations for performance metrics associated with position.
  • Manages book of accounts by maintaining accurate records and profiles
  • Calling of contacts in identified target market segments, geographic regions, and customer lists, in order to build a relationship with the customers and ensure overall customer satisfaction
  • Regular attendance is an essential function of this job

  Basic Qualifications:

  • Associates Degree or commensurate business experience
  • Candidates should possess 2+ years experience in outbound or outside business to business sales with a proven track record of success
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Comfortable with spending extensive time on the phone daily
  • Must be aggressive and goal oriented person with high personal drive, integrity and energy
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office, CRM systems
  • Full-time 40 hour minimum work week

  Skills:

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and rapport building skills while creating a positive and professional impression
  • Experience in developing and maintaining strong rapport with sales contacts and staff
  • Experience in educating or influencing targeted customers
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team setting while meeting established objectives

Marketing/Brand Management
FlagHouse Brand Managers are responsible for developing the product lines that are the lifeblood of our company. The Brand Managers develop and introduce new products and fulfill marketing plans while keeping closely attuned to the needs and wishes of their clientele.

Sales
Our Sales Account Representatives create strong, ongoing ties with clients by working with them in person, meeting them at trade shows, and using whatever means are necessary to deliver the most appropriate solutions. Our Telephone Sales Representatives are responsible for providing prompt, friendly, and professional service, 100% of the time. Their goal is to give customers what they want. They ARE FlagHouse to the people who call us!

Customer Service/Satisfaction
Every FlagHouse employee is here to satisfy our customer. From the initial phone greeting, through processing mail and faxed orders, following up on drop-shipments, and promptly resolving customer problems that arise, we count on our Customer Service team.

Distribution
Our 118,000 sq. ft. Distribution Center at our Hasbrouck Heights headquarters houses our multi-million dollar inventory. The personal care exercised by our Distribution Center staff insures that orders are correct and packaged safely and efficiently. We use computerized scanning, and automated billing and shipping documentation to make our operation run smoothly.

Information Technology (IT) & Decision Support
Our IT team keeps us ready for current and future information management needs. They develop and support our business system, e-commerce, intranet, and our continually evolving Marketing applications.

Purchasing
Sourcing, negotiating, ordering, and controlling inventory insures that thousands of products are where they should be, when they should be. This is the challenge facing our Purchasing Team. Our Buyers, Design Engineers, and support group all help to build customer satisfaction.

Finance (Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable & Credit)
The traditional accounting job functions are all present with the constant opportunities to deal with vendors and customers throughout the world in a growing, dynamic business.
